Pie is a 21-year-old female homo sapien who likes pretty things — namely, things that are colorful (often pink), glittery (but not “vampires”), intricate (arts and crafts), or scenic (typically forest or waterscapes). Her knack for collecting and admiring these things are what earned her her spirit animal (or dæmon, if you’re familiar with His Dark Materials, a fantastic book trilogy that Pie is particularly fond of), the Black-billed Magpie. Not the pastry. (Though the pastries are wonderful, and Pie often speculates jokingly that she might taste like her “other” namesake if eaten.)
Pie also has anxiety and stress issues, and created this blog as a virtual escape from her worries. The imagery is comforting to her, and she wants to share these things that she loves with other people, so that they could relax and enjoy them, as well.
She is an artist and a writer and sometimes a singer. She wants to write a book.
